After pleading guilty to the federal charge of not registering as a sex offender in his new city of Los Angeles, rapper Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty, has finally been sentenced.
Kenneth Petty, 44, dodged prison and instead was sentenced to one year of home confinement for failing to register as a sex offender after he moved to California with the chart-topping artist after the two were married.
Petty was also fined $55,000 dollars and will serve three years of probation. Court documents obtained by AllHipHop.com revealed that the government wanted a 15-month prison sentence for Kenneth Petty, so his prison sentence is a major victory.
