Food prices rose again, but paying for rent, and prices of gasoline and apparel went down between the last two surveyed quarters, the Guam Bureau of Statistics and Plans reported.

The latest quarterly Consumer Price Index, covering the fourth quarter of last year, shows a 0.3 percent decline in overall prices of consumer goods and services between the last two quarters.

Compared to the same period a year earlier, overall prices of consumer goods and services on Guam went up slightly, by 1 percent.
