Walmart is pulling ice cream that celebrates the Juneteenth holiday.
The label reads "Share and celebrate African-American culture, emancipation and enduring hope." But some online called the ice cream a marketing scheme.
The retail giant reacted to the backlash by apologizing and said it will remove the items. Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when Union soldiers informed enslaved Black people in Texas they were finally free.
