Rihanna hinted at retiring from music to focus on her business ventures and family during the Fenty Beauty launch in Barbados.
Reflecting on her career shift, she said, “Music was the thing that got the attention, but God had other plans for me, allowing me to create in ways that feel organic and authentic.”
Since her last album in 2016, Rihanna has primarily focused on her successful lingerie and skincare brands and has been raising two children with her partner, A$AP Rocky. Though she has contributed to some soundtracks, her main focus now appears to be her growing family and other creative pursuits.
