Nicki Minaj recently took aim at everyone from Shannon Sharpe to the NFL when she hopped on the new Lil Wayne collab “Banned from NO (Remix).”
On the track she rapped “Bout to cop you slides, all you do is flip-flop / If I send a pic of Shannon, you ain’t that Sharpe.” That line apparently followed Shannon asking “Nicki who?” after a fan told him they wanted her to hop on his podcast, “Club Shay Shay.”
Now Sharpe has responded to Nicki, apologizing over on his "Nightcap" show, and saying his comment was a misunderstanding. “I used to go back and forth with people.
I was talking about Nikki Haley…Nicki, I was not trying to be disrespectful. Of course I know who you are,” he shares on his podcast. “Nicki, I apologize. I meant no disrespect.
