Rapper Nelly is bringing a National Thoroughbred League team to his hometown.
The St. Louis native announced that he's purchased Seattle's team which will be renamed the "Nellies." The horses will run out of Fairmount Park in nearby Collinsville.
In honor of the new team, Nelly will serve as the host of the NTL's "Nelly Cup" on Saturday, July 19th for the track's centennial celebration.
