Jay-Z Issues Statement After NFL Selects Bad Bunny As Super Bowl Headliner

Jay-Z is sharing his thoughts after Bad Bunny was announced as the next headliner for the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

On Sunday, the NFL and Roc Nation announced the Puerto Rican rapper will be performing at Super Bowl 60 in Santa Clara, California.

In a statement, Jay-Z said "what Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring," adding "we are honored to have him on the world's biggest stage."

In his own statement, Bad Bunny said "what I'm feeling goes beyond myself, it's for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown."

He added "it's for my people, my culture, and our history." Super Bowl 60 is happening on February 8th, 2026.
