Taraji P. Henson has been cast as Texas Ranger Nia Adams in Peacock's adaptation of 50 Cent's novel "The Accomplice."
The story follows Adams as she hunts down master thief Desmond Bell and uncovers a dangerous conspiracy.
The project is a collaboration between UCP, G-Unit Films and Television, and Henson's TPH Entertainment. 50 Cent's entertainment empire is expanding rapidly, with investments in Shreveport, Louisiana, to create a media powerhouse and plans for new projects in 2026.
The city of Shreveport, ranked as one of the most "needy" cities in the U.S., is set to benefit from 50 Cent's ambitious initiatives.
