We are hosting screening events with Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Buddy Bus! The Buddy Bus brings 3D screening mammograms on-site in a comfortable and convenient setting.
When: Monday, September 30, 2024
Where: The Law Offices of Ron Sholes - 6850 103rd Street, Jacksonville, FL 32210
Time: 9:00am - 2:00pm
To schedule an appointment for your annual mammogram and reserve your spot on the Buddy Bus, click HERE OR scan the QR code below. Baptist Health will schedule your mammograms using the same insurance authorization process used for their at their in-office locations.
Before signing up, please review the eligibility requirements outlined below.
Eligibility requirements:
- You must be at least 40 years old. If you are age 30 – 39 and have a mother or sister who was diagnosed with breast cancer before age 50, then the “10-year rule” applies.
- For example, with a first-degree relative diagnosed at age 42, your eligibility begins at age 32.
- One year since last mammogram.
- No breast issues (such as a lump or discharge from nipple area).
- Can climb the unit stairs and stand for 10-15 minutes without assistance. If unable, please contact the Baptist Health Hill Breast Center at 904.202.2499 to schedule an appointment at one of Baptist Health’s convenient in-office locations.
- Have seen an OBGYN or primary care provider within the last year who is able to receive and review your screening results. If you do not have a primary care provider and would like to schedule an appointment, call Baptist Health’s care coordinators at 904.202.4YOU (202.4968).
