The K.I.N.G Foundation (Kids In Need of Guidance & Grace) and iHeartMedia Jacksonville are partnering for the 9th Annual Back to School Community Day., scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at A. Philip Randolph Heritage Park in Jacksonville.
Last year, the event welcomed more than 700 guests and provided 500 children with backpacks filled with essential school supplies. Families also enjoyed food, games, giveaways, and valuable community resources. Due to the tremendous growth of this event and the increasing economic challenges facing many families, we anticipate serving between 700 and 1,000 children this year.
