Monica and Shannon Brown have called it quits!
According to TMZ, the 38-year-old singer filed for divorce from her 33-year-old ex-NBA player husband earlier this month, after eight years of marriage.
Back in October, it was speculated that Monica and Shannon separated. However, the two shot the rumors down when Monica posted a photo of her and Shannon to Instagram, with the caption: "God is My Judge… I am Me… He created Me in his image…. #STILLme #STILLstanding sometimes sitting 🤫 #ThisIs38."
Most recently, fans noticed Monica's ring-less wedding finger as she's been without her wedding ring in photos posted to her social media for weeks.
The former couple, who wed in November 2010, share a five-year-old daughter Laiya. Monica also has two sons —Rocko and Romelo — from a previous relationship.
So far, there are no details as to why Monica and Shannon decided to call it quits.
