Wendy Williams Addresses 'Long Week' In Final Show Before Hiatus

Wendy Williams may not be ready to publicly address her personal life drama, but that hasn't stopped her from hinting at it.

While discussing controversial Empire actor Jussie Smollett’s NAACP Image Awards nomination, the 54-year-old talk show host inadvertently referenced her on-going family drama.

"[Jussie] loves the camera and he loves to pose," Wendy began her "Hot Topics" segment with. "Jussie was nominated for Best Supporting Actor and he was spotted at LAX."

"He lives in L.A.," she continued. “Here he is at the airport, on his way to the location of the NAACP Image Awards. Where are they at again?"

"In L.A.," producer Norman Baker responded. "He was in Chicago and was flying. He just landed in the city."

"What he said," Wendy said before she took a throat lozenge out of her mouth. "Oh, oh. Sorry. Long week." She later reminded audience members of her pre-scheduled break next week, saying, "We are on vacation for seven days. We will be back the following Monday."

As fans know, Wendy's had a tough couple of weeks. On Wednesday (March 27), the 54-year-old talk show host was spotted out and about for the first time since news broke about her alleged hospitalization following a relapse, which was reportedly triggered by reports her husband Kevin Hunter's alleged mistress gave birth to a baby girl last week. Despite her alleged relapse, she told photogs she was feeling "wonderful" and proudly flashed her wedding ring.

Wendy, who announced that she's living in a sober living house days prior, was found drunk and had to be rushed to the hospital on Monday (March 25). "She was in a bad way and disappeared from the studio after her show Monday," a source told Daily Mail. "She went back to the sober house only to check herself out and decided to start drinking."
