The Billboard Music Awards went down in Las Vegas last night with Drake winning the night’s top award, Top Artist, as well as Top Male Artist, Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Male Artist and Top Rap Album for “Certified Love Boy” Doja Cat won Top R&B Artist, Top Viral Song for “Kiss Me More,” featuring SZA and Best R&B album for “Planet Her.”
There were also plenty of performances with host P.Diddy opening the show with his new single “Gotta Move On,” featuring Bryson Tiller, followed by Jack Harlow performing “First Class,” and then Diddy performed “Mo Money Mo Problems,” with Teyana Taylor and her six-year-old daughter.
Other performances included; Silk Sonic, Latto, Megan Thee Stallion,Travis Scott and Maxwell celebrated the 40th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” with a performance of “The Lady In My Life” and more. Also honored last night was Mary J. Blige, who received the Icon Award, with a surprise appearance by Janet Jackson who introduced the honoree.
