CDC Raises Monkeypox Alert Level, Recommends Masks During Travel

In case you missed it, the CDC is raising its alert level for monkeypox.

· The health agency raised the alert level for the disease to level two on Monday (the highest level is three)

· The CDC recommends that Americans avoid contact with sick people and sick animals – especially those with skin lesions.

· The CDC said monkeypox cases have been reported in North and South America, Africa, Asia, and Australia – one-thousand, 19 cases worldwide, so far.
