Say what you will about Gunna, but he’s not taking his situation lying down.
As we told you, he was part of the roundup that also got Young Thug on gang-related charges in Atlanta. Yesterday was his birthday, and since he’s currently locked up – and will be until at least 2023 – he claimed in a letter that America is violating his right to Freedom of Speech.
The artist also known as Sergio Kitchens says that his breakout year was flipped after being part of a 56-count indictment that included Young Thug and several other YSL members.
Gunna writes in the lengthy missive, “22 & 2, just a bed & a shower, no windows just walls. Can’t see or talk to anyone. I’m writing now & still praying everyday. I was raised to fight fire with water, even tho my country’s amendments have failed me! PROTECT BLACK ART!”
