The Eternal’s actress announced the exciting news on her official Instagram page earlier today (July 31st), revealing her daughter, Zahara Jolie Pitt, will be attending Spelman College this fall.
Zahara, 17, is the adopted daughter of divorced celebrity couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
Zahara’s enrollment at Spelman will bring more awareness to the historic university.
She joins an elite group of celebrities who have committed themselves to spending money at HBCU’s.
With her mother’s prior involvement and efforts for better world social justice, such an intentional decision makes sense.
