General Hospital actress Sonya Eddy has died at the age of 55. In 2006, Sonya Eddy made her first appearances in the 543 episodes she starred in of General Hospital.
Her role as Epiphany Johnson, the chief nurse, and mother of the late fictional character Stan Johnson who became involved in the mob, is well-remembered by viewers.
Eddy made her television debut in 1995 on The Drew Carey Show before going on to star in a number of other shows and films, such as Seinfeld, Monk, Reba, CSI, Glee, Castle, and Fresh Off the Boat.
Eddy’s cause of death remains unknown at this time.
