One person is dead and two others are hurt after a shooting in a Florida City Walmart located off South Dixie Highway, near the Florida Turnpike.
Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta confirms one suspect was taken into custody Wednesday afternooon, but four others are still on the loose. He says two groups of people got into an altercation which turned physical, and then shots were fired.
One of the people involved in the altercation was airlifted to the hospital, but did not survive. Police identifying 23-year-old Nathaniel Baez as that victim.
The other person shot was an innocent bystander. A third person was injured, trying to escape the chaos.
