It may not be her natural habitat, but Beyoncé has made herself right at home in country music. Her "Cowboy Carter" album has now passed the one billion streams mark on Spotify, less than six weeks after its March 29 release date.
This is on the heels of her setting the bar for Black women everywhere, by becoming the first Black female to have a #1 country album.
The project also placed 23 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and upon its release was Spotify's most-streamed album in a single day in 2024 (a record since broken by Taylor Swift).
Not bad, for an album Bey proclaimed "ain't a country album - it's a Beyoncé album."
