Master P has been named President of Basketball Operations at the University of New Orleans, calling it a "homecoming" and vowing to restore the program’s former glory.
“Today is history,” he declared in a press conference, reminiscing about how the school’s basketball team was once among the best.
Facing a challenging rebuild, he promised to “change the culture,” as the team sits at 4-25 and has yet to win at home. The program has been rocked by controversy as well, with four top players suspended amid an ongoing gambling investigation. “I’m just so appreciative and blessed that God has given me this opportunity … to rebuild this program.
We gonna change this. This is our culture, this is our team and this is our family,” !
