Erykah Badu is hinting at a return to recording new music after a decade-long hiatus.
The R&B icon, who last released a full album in 2010, expressed excitement about working on a new project with hip-hop producer The Alchemist. Badu, who received the icon award at Billboard's Women in Music ceremony, emphasized the importance of both touring and recording in her artistic journey.
Fans have eagerly awaited a new album from Badu, who has focused on features and live mixtapes in recent years. At the event, Badu reflected on her fashion sense and career milestones, while other artists like Ángela Aguilar and Gracie Abrams were also honored.
