Veteran journalist and political analyst Joy Reid is launching a new video podcast, “The Joy Reid Show,” which will be released three times a week on YouTube and major podcast platforms.
Reid plans to expand the show to five days a week later this year, bringing challenging, uplifting, and connecting conversations rooted in her voice and perspective. The podcast, produced by Reid’s company Image Lab Media Group, will feature interviews, commentary, and political analysis on Mondays and Wednesdays, with “Freestyle Fridays” dedicated to answering listener questions.
Reid sees this new venture as a platform where she can be fully herself, unpacking headlines, engaging with brilliant thinkers, and challenging power in a more free and open manner than traditional TV allows
