Pharrell and Adidas won Shoe of the Year at the 2025 Footwear News Achievement Awards for their Virginia Adistar Jellyfish collaboration, first revealed at Paris Fashion Week.
The design, released in orange and later blue, embodied Pharrell’s vision of a shoe that “felt alive… with its own rhythm, energy and glow,” the artist shared in a statement. Pharrell said the project evolved through constant refinement until it became “fluid, futuristic, and free.”
The honor places Pharrell alongside other 2025 FN Award recipients like Coco Gauff, Ronnie Fieg, and Tommy Hilfiger
