TSA agents at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International could break a record for screenings as the spring break holiday period gets going.
Airport officials say this Friday, April 4th, could be one of the busiest of the year so far with 115-thousand people expected to travel through security.
The single-day record of 111-thousand was set back in May of 2024.
Security wait times have also returned back to normal as TSA agents have begun to receive their paychecks and back pay for non-payment since the partial government shutdown began.
Congress is currently on a two week spring break and are expected to continue talks to reopen the government on April 13th
