(Miami, FL) - A cast member of Real Housewives of Miami could avoid a criminal conviction after allegedly wire-tapping her ex-husband's car.
Lisa Hochstein, 43, and her ex-boyfriend Jody Daniel Glidden, 52, are charged with interception of wire, oral or electronic communications.
The two are accused of planting a bug in celebrity Miami plastic surgeon, Lenny Hochstein's Mercedes during their contentious divorce in 2023.
According to investigators, the device captured 98 recordings and Florida law prohibits recording conversations without consent.
They both have entered a pre-trial program that allows for them to avoid a criminal felony conviction through rehab rather than punishment.
They will appear in court on June 22nd when their PTI is expected to be completed.
Their attorneys asking the judge for a continuance today as both have entered into the felony pre-trial diversion program or PTI. And, the State agrees to dismiss the charges if you meet all program requirements.
By completing the structured program of supervision and rehabilitation, the two will be able to avoid trial.
The judge set a status hearing for June 22nd. Some of Hochstein's "Real Housewives" cast mates continue to support her.
The Hochstein's were married for 13 years, have two children together.
