André 3000 is joining Netflix’s upcoming live-action series "Scooby-Doo: Origins."
The show is a modern take on the series, exploring the first case that brings Mystery Inc. together. Mckenna Grace, Tyler Hagen, Abby Ryder Fortson, and Maxwell Jenkins will play Daphne, Shaggy, Velma, and Fred, respectively.
André joins a supporting cast that includes Paul Walter Hauser, Cathy Moriarty, and Sara Gilbert.
The role marks his latest acting project following 2022’s "Showing Up" and "White Noise." André also has some "Scooby-Doo" history, as Outkast contributed "Land Of A Million Drums" to the 2002 "Scooby-Doo" movie soundtrack.
