Lizzo expressed her gratitude to Dolly Parton for her support during a challenging time in her life, sharing a tribute on Instagram inspired by Parton's iconic style.
Reflecting on their collaboration, Lizzo recalled how Parton invited her to play flute on the album "Rockstar" and honored her request to credit her musical persona, Sasha Flute. Their partnership resulted in a successful cover of "Stairway to Heaven," which contributed to the album's gold certification.
Amid public scrutiny, Lizzo chose to celebrate this meaningful connection rather than focus on controversy, thanking Parton for her kindness and belief in humanity. Lizzo's tribute featured a floral outfit and a guitar, paying homage to Parton's "Jolene" era.
