Snoop Dogg Biopic Gets Release Date

Snoop Dogg is coming to theaters. The rapper has popped up in a ton of movies over the years, but now Universal Pictures has officially set the release date for his very own biopic, “Snoop.” The movie will officially hit theaters on August 6, 2027.

Jonathan Daviss will star as the rap icon, with Craig Brewer directing a film that will feature music from Snoop’s extensive catalog.

The movie marks the first project under Universal’s deal with Death Row Pictures, with Snoop serving as a producer. Production is expected to begin this summer, though plot details remain under wraps.
