Brevard County, FL - A Brevard County man was arrested after allegedly leaving private nude photos of a woman in public areas of a Satellite Beach Publix.
Authorities responded to the store at 1024 Highway A1A on August 3rd after multiple images were found in locations accessible to shoppers, including children.
According to the arrest report, the photos were printed on postcard-style paper and placed in shopping cart child seats, the men’s restroom, the soda aisle, and an outdoor merchandise bin.
The victim told investigators the images were private and had been shared with the suspect during their past relationship.
She did not consent to the photos being distributed or displayed publicly, the report states.
Surveillance footage showed 43-year-old Christopher Stehman entering the store twice.
During the second visit, he allegedly attempted to hide his identity while carrying an item consistent with the recovered images.
The victim identified Stehman in the footage and cited a recent custody-related dispute as a possible motive.
She also reported a history of similar incidents in which Stehman allegedly shared her nude images without permission.
Stehman was arrested on Friday and charged with one count of sexual cyber-harassment.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
Police encourage anyone with additional information about similar incidents to come forward.
