The Draft Action Flood Plan Being Unveiled In Ft. Lauderdale Tonight

The City of Ft. Lauderdale unveiling its Draft Action Plan outlining how it will spend $88 million it got in FEMA funds from the historic flash flood of 2023. Mayor Dean Trantalis says the plan will help residents become more educated. He says the funds are being used to create more storm water systems in neighborhoods that did not have them and help rebuild City Hall. Ft. Lauderdale logged just over twenty-five inches of rain within twelve hours.
