A recall has been issued for 328,000 smoke detectors.
The recall was issued by the Consumer Product Safety Commission after officials received at least eight complaints from people who said their Samurai Mini Smoke Alarm system didn’t actually alert them of a fire.
The smoke detectors were sold exclusively on the Home Shopping Network.
People who own the recalled alarms should write “recalled” on them with a permanent marker, take a photo of it, and upload it to manufacturer SM1’s website, according to the company. Source: WPX
