LeBron James Could Be Out Until December

It’s going to be a long wait to see LeBron on the court again. LeBron James could miss the start of the regular season and possibly much more time due to injury.

The Los Angeles Lakers star is dealing with an uncertain timeline to return, and an unnamed NBA executive believes James might not play until December. The executive said James' body isn't healing as quickly as it used to, and the Lakers need to be very careful with the injury. James, who turns 41 later this year, is currently dealing with a sciatica issue on his right side.

The condition is often seen in older adults and has caused concern among fans. A report last week revealed that James first had the sciatica problem over the summer and has been dealing with it for months.

James was given an initial timeline of 3-4 weeks for recovery. This will be the first time in his 23 seasons that he's unavailable for Opening Night.

If the unnamed executive's fears come true, James could miss around 20 games to start the year
