With more people making the decision to turn their backs on dating apps, there’s been a resurgence of “speed dating” events.
For the uninitiated, “speed dating” events are where a group of singles get together and move from table-to-table to meet with each other in timed five-to-eight-minute “dates.”
Then, a scorecard is tabulated, and people find out who they matched or didn’t match.
If there’s mutual interest, they’re connected with one another, and they can explore the connection further.
With these events seeing a growth spurt, here are a few tips should you decide to give “speed dating” a try…
Treat it like multiple real first dates
· Don’t make it just about you
· Kindness rules…being judgmental will sink you
· Practice makes perfect, so give multiple events a try
