Jay-Z and his Shawn Carter Foundation brought their annual HBCU Bus Tour to Atlanta, giving local high school students direct exposure to 11 historically Black colleges and universities.
The program is designed to help students explore college options, experience campus life, and connect with admissions teams. Beyond the tour, students receive support like SAT/ACT prep, scholarship guidance, and interview training to prepare them for college success.
The initiative has a strong track record, with over 100 participating seniors each year earning at least one college acceptance.
Sponsored by Toyota, the tour continues to focus on increasing awareness, access, and enrollment at HBCUs while exposing students to opportunities they might not otherwise see.
