Alleged serial bank robber arrested in Flagler County

Flagler county deputies arrested 47-year-old Mark Wardell on Monday night after receiving a description of him from Ormond Beach Police where it is alleged he robbed a bank. In addition to that robbery, he was the suspect in a St. Augustine bank robbery as well. 

He had four active warrants for his arrest in Jacksonville, two in Volusia County and one in St. Johns County for committed robberies. His arrest record includes time in prison for grand theft, drug and weapons, theft and burglary, organized fraud and armed robbery.

Deputies spotted the car he was in on I-95 and pulled it over. According to News4Jax, the driver of the vehicle, Tina Heinrichs, was also arrested for driving with a suspended license for the second time.
