The Jacksonville Humane Society (JHS) announces Whiskers & Waves, a free pet adoption event and festival, presented by Donovan Air, Electric & Plumbing. The event will take place on Friday November 3, 2023 from 3 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Seawalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach.
The community is invited to come out to the Seawalk Pavilion and “fall” in love with adoptable dogs all while exploring 15 local vendors and 2 food trucks. Adoptable dogs from JHS, Jacksonville Animal Care & Protective Services, Nassau County Animal Services, and Halifax Humane Society will be present and available for adoption at the event. All adoption fees will be waived.
- The event is outdoors and will go on rain or shine.
- If bringing your pet, all dogs must be leashed.
