Students and staff are being asked to avoid the HR building, but the suspect is contained off campus.

An alert is underway at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
The school set out an alert this morning saying the, "Shots fired incident involves a barricaded suspect and is contained by police. "
The university is still telling people to secure in place.
The incident is happening near the main UF HR Building.
