Real Housewives of Potomac star Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, Eddie, are facing serious legal trouble. The couple was arrested in Carroll County and charged with multiple counts of fraud after allegedly lying to police about a robbery that reportedly took place while they were on vacation in April.
According to investigators, Wendy and Eddie claimed over $450,000 in stolen property, including high-end luxury items. However, officials say some of the items had already been returned for refunds, and others were found in their home during a police search. Items discovered included a Gucci wallet and a Dior shirt that were listed in their insurance claim as stolen.
The couple has since posted bond and been released. Executive Producer of the Real Housewives franchise, Andy Cohen, weighed in, saying, “I’m a Wendy fan… she’s always led with education and solid family values. I’m hoping this is all some big nothing.”
